MBA Program


The City University of Seattle Master of Business in Administration (MBA) program is committed to academic integrity, continuous quality improvement, and student satisfaction. This commitment is not just a theoretical idea; it has been put into practice.The program staff and faculty work very hard on our student satisfaction and quality improvement efforts and have placed events, resources, and tools in place to support this work. One important aspect of the business programs is the implementation of Blackboard master course shells that have consistency and instructional depth for each business area discipline. We want to provide you with as much support and resources as possible to make your ability to learn more engaging, clearer, and fulfilling.

We have also put improved faculty evaluation strategies into place in order to increase faculty-student engagement and ensure instructional quality. Finally, our commitment to student satisfaction includes regular student social and career events, and a more granular approach to program assessment to ensure that you are getting the skills and knowledge that you need to move forward with your career and life!

About the Program

The MBA provides the skills, insights and perspectives required for today’s business leaders. The program was developed in partnership with representative from key industries who provided valuable input regarding what successful business leaders need to understand, master, and apply within an organization. Courses provide focus on everyday business challenges such as interpersonal skills, decision making, critical analysis, cultural awareness, technology, sustainability, business planning and innovating thinking. Students will emerge with the leadership and analytical abilities require to manage a business unit or organization. Emphasis area options include:
